Meeting with the CDSR UMGo and UNG management team, researchers and students was needed in preparation for the implementation of SHERA sustainability assessment. The first meeting was held on April 23, 2019 starting at 15. 30 at the UMGo campus and was attended by eleven people from management, researchers and students. However, there are some researchers and students who cannot attend. At this meeting, MEL coordinator presented an overview of the implementation of the SHERA sustainability assessment based on the ToR sent by USAID MESP team, including questions that might be asked by the reviewer or interviewer. In addition, discussions also took place related to CDSR programs. This activity was finished at 17. 30.
On April 24, 2019 the meeting in preparation for the SHERA sustainability assessment was conducted at the UNG campus. As in UMGo, MEL coordinator again delivered an overview of the implementation of SHERA sustainability assessment. Discussions also took place between MEL coordinator, management, researchers and students. Furthermore, preparations are made by ensuring that the speakers can be present according to a predetermined schedule.
At 3:00 p. m. the USAID MESP team represented by William Dunworth and the translator arrived at the UNG campus. They were welcomed by the CDSR UNG management team with the UNG vice Rector. Shortly thereafter, the assessment process began with interviews with the UNG CDSR management team: Yuszda K Salimi, Yayu Arifin and Dewi Muliawati. The interview lasted two hours.
On the following day, April 25, 2019, the assessment continued from 09. 00 with an interview with the leadership of UNG: vice rector, LPPM and head of the international office. This process lasted 2 hours. Furthermore, the USAID MESP team should interview the CDGR UNG working partners from Gorontalo District. However, because the partner was not present, the assessment was continued with interviews with researchers and students until the afternoon. During the process, MEL coordinator took time to revisit the UMGo campus and meet with the management team of CDSR UMGo to further prepare for the next assessment process at UMGo.
On Friday, the assessment process was continued on the UMGo campus. The USAID MESP team was represented by Satryo Soemantri B. welcomed by the Rector of the UMGo and CDSR UMGo management team. The assessment process begins with interviews with the rector and UMGo leaders for 2 hours. Furthermore, CDSR UMGo management was interviewed by the reviewer for 2 hours. The process was continued by interviewing researchers for 2 hours and students for 2 hours which lasted until evening. Finally, the series of SHERA sustainability assessment activities has been completed. The assessment was changed from the original schedule which it would be finished on Saturday, April 27, 2019. This change was at the initiative of the reviewer team. "
