This workshop was attended by reserchers who participated in FEOFS workshop. Most of the participants are CCR NCSTT members while there were also non- CCR NCSTT member The workshop mainly talked about how to establish an international research collaboration and also materials obtained from MIT Professional Education Program, namely additive manufacturing Speakers of this workshop were 1. Dr. Fauzan Adziman - Senior Lecturer - Oxford University 2. Professor Kikuo Kishimoto - Tokyo Institute of Technology 3. Dr. Dominicus Danardono - Universitas Negeri Sebelas Maret - MIT PE Alumni
This workshop contributes to our KPI in terms of the number of workshop held and the number of researchers participating on workshop. The participant also now have an improved understanding on establishing a research collaboration and additive manufacturing
There were no particular challenge on this activities
According to feedback, the participants were really interested on finite element topic for mechanical engineering. They were also very interested in the discussion on obtaining research funds from various resources. This is a pathway for CCR NCSTT to obtain more funding from external resources for sustained research
We are planning to hold another workshop on research methodology and provide support for our CCR members who are trying to get research funding from another sources.
