The follow-up of the NCM 811 study was making LiNCM with a 5% excess of lithium. The addition amount of lithium aims to keep the ratio of Li with NCM (Ni, Co, Mn) after calcination constant at a ratio of 1: 1. Furthermore, it is expected that the performance of NCM811 is high with good electrochemical properties and a small cation mixing level obtained by this treatment. The NCM811 synthesized material with Li excess showed the color of the coprecipitation solution was slightly blue-white. After drying and grinding, the color turned brown. The material was calcined at temperatures of 750 ⁰C and 780 ⁰C and produces black NCM powder. The measurement of electrochemical properties in the form of EIS was carried out on both samples, and it was found that both samples had small Rct values, i. e. 50. 09 and 61. 43 ohms respectively.
