SMART CITY had previously planned to collaborate with the Department of Architecture UI and Purdue University on the 3rd ICSCI in Bali, 2020. The conjunction conference would need to match with SMART CITY, UI, and Purdue's theme. A meeting was held between SMART CITY at UI and Udayana to discuss the term of collaboration and make plan adjustments.

The meeting discussed the main concept and the terms of collaboration, as well as the technical matters of the conjunction conference. All parties have agreed to execute the conjunction conference only for the conference day. The publishing proceeding will be separated, as well as the submitting and reviewing process.
