To create an assessment instrument with the National Ministry of Internal Affairs to assess Indonesia cities and regencies' governmental readiness toward smart city development. The instrument will be implemented at the ASEAN level, due to ASEAN's recent request for Indonesia to develop a standardized instrument that matches the ASEAN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). SMART CITY is working with the National Ministry of Internal Affairs to create an instrument to assess local and regional government's readiness for smart city development in Indonesia. SMART CITY has hired an expert on Economic Development to become the lead researcher and PT Pajon will also collaborate on the website development for the instrument. The activity was initiated in 2018 by the National Ministry Directorate of Regional Autonomy, and discussion continued until April 2019. In January, the activity was planned to be continued from March to June 2020. |
