Research Partnerships Between Indonesian University and Purdue University, and M&E for the 3rd ICSCI in Bali

To follow up on collaborative research activity between USAID’s LASER PULSE at Purdue University and USAID’s CCR SMART CITY at Universitas Indonesia.

SMART CITY invited Purdue University to join a discussion with Universitas Udayana, to organize possible collaboration to conduct a translation research project. The discussion will also cover arrangements of the upcoming in-conjunction conference between SMART CITY, Purdue University, iDwell, ASEAN AUN Energy Regional Conference, and Future Cities Laboratory.

(1) Due to the condition of coronavirus, SMART CITY has agreed to hold the meeting with Purdue University as a virtual meeting on March 2. They have shared the condition of their activity and travelling schedule to Ethiopia, therefore the meeting was not able to be conducted on the date. (2) SMART CITY UI and Udayana conducted coordination meeting with the iDwell committee to visit the conference site and discuss the scenario to hold seminar and panel rooms. All parties also discussed each needs and technical requirements.

Due to the coronavirus condition and USAID representative suggestion, Purdue University has cancelled their activity in Vietnam and meeting in Bali. They suggested to reschedule the virtual meeting to March 2.
