Objectives:

Genotyping of FABP4 gene by RFLP using Anza 86 restriction enzyme.

Results:

Nine samples (#9, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) were analyzed, but no DNA fragments observed, showing unsuccesfull digestion.

Challenges:

No DNA fragments appeared in electrogram.

Best Practices:

Teaching scholars in observing and analyzing DNA digestion using Anza 86 restriction enzyme.

Lessons Learned:

PCR-RFLP using Anza86 enzyme.

Follow-up:

Repeating experiment.
